Marci Lynn McGuinness - Screenwriter/Executive Producer/Director
SW PA'S coal and steel barons were so influential, that in 1916 when Indianapolis and the Vanderbilt Cup races closed down
due the WWI, they built America's fastest motordrome, the Uniontown Speedway board track.
Vivian Prescott - Silent Film Star and Race Car Driver promoted the Uniontown Speedway board track (1916 - 1922) and brought Universal Films President Carl Laemmle here. He sponsored the annual 225 mile Universal Film Trophy Race.
Louis Chevrolet won the opener!
Charley Johnson, President of the Uniontown Speedway, tells his story narrated by Frankie Guy of www.hardcorederbypromotions.com and Paint Masters Plus, Uniontown, PA.

I am author Marci Lynn McGuinness. Since 2012, I have worked to get my screenplay, Speed King, the attention this historical story deserves. In 2019, I graduated from the ScreenwritingU Master Class after 4 years of very hard work learning the craft and meeting pros in the industry.
During Hollywood shut downs over the past few years, I have improved my feature film script, Speed King, and adapted it to a novel. This project is an action-packed historical romance, inspired by the true story of the Uniontown Speedway board track, 1916 - 1922. It is Sea Biscuit on wheels!.
Speed King, The Documentary film project, is getting underway and its story is included in my new Speed King book. Charley Johnson, the Speed King of the Summit Mountain Hill Climbs and President of the Uniontown Speedway board track, and narrator, finally tells his story!
Put Fayette County, Pennsylvania on the early auto racing history map...where it belongs...AND appear in the Speed King action documentary. Short video:
